We are a mission-minded congregation reaching out both locally and abroad. You can get plugged into our mission ministries by joining one of the many mission projects we participate in.

MISSION TRIPS AND PROJECTS
Many youth and adults who have participated in a mission trip returned with renewed faith in God. By following the example set by Christ, the mission teams bring glory to God by reaching out to help His children in need. The projects often involve physical reconstruction, but the true rebuilding is a spiritual one. Our members serve in the local community, nationally, and internationally.

EL AYUDANTE (www.nicamissions.com)
Every summer, a mission team from FPC, along with other churches, travels to El Ayudante, a complex in Leon, Nicaragua whose centerpiece is a child protection center. Facilities include a medical clinic, teaching center and housing for mission teams. Contact a Mission Committee member for information of current projects we are supporting.

*NOTE: We have had to refrain from our annual Nicaragua mission trip until the civil unrest is resolved. Please keep El Ayudante and all of Nicaragua in your prayers as this situation progresses.

SYCHAR WATER MINISTRY
The lack of fresh water to drink is a major issue in many poverty-stricken places. During one of our mission trips to Nicaragua, several members felt the call to help with this problem. Since that time, a well has been dug in one of the Nicaraguan towns we minister to, countless clay water filtration systems have been distributed, and we are continuing to make abundant the fresh water—both “living” and “liquid”—in this region.
