“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Philippians 4:6-7 (The Message)
Summit friends,
Having been a part of closing East Point Presbyterian Church, I know your grief! God, however, has His perfect plan for His service, through you! As Aisha so eloquently reminded us, we have a hope for the future! Lovely service, music and hopeful reminders as well from Al, Martin and Sandi!
On behalf of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, thanks for the service and witness of the Summit. We have been blessed by the leadership and the members. We are grateful for your presence and offer prayers of thanksgiving for each of you. God bless you on this next amazing journey with Fayette Presbyterian Church.
Welcome, Summit church friends! We really enjoyed our integrated church service with you today. Please know that you are greeted with open arms at Fayette-Summit Presbyterian Church! Looking forward to worshipping with you again in person…
Thank you, Rev. Aisha, for your words of encouragement and hope.
What a wonderful service to remember the Summit Church. I remember attending there several times and was always welcomed so warmly. I look forward to welcoming you all in the same way to Fayette Presbyterian.
