I am a South Georgia native who has lived in Peachtree City for two years. I’m married to John, a civil engineer, and we have two daughters, Abiella and Annalise. I completed my PhD in Education at Vanderbilt in 2013. I’ve spent my career working in a variety of educational settings, primarily supporting teachers’ instructional practices in early childhood and elementary school classrooms. I have been an active church member and volunteer with children’s programs for as long as I can remember – going all the way back to teaching VBS and Children’s Church as a middle schooler! In my free time, I enjoy trying out new recipes, bike riding, singing, gardening, crafting, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
