Presbyterian Women Donation Drive for the residents of Presbyterian Homes and Presbyterian Village.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Yes it’s that time of the year. By the time you read this article, our train will be in the lobby to collect your gifts! Each year Presbyterian Women celebrate the holidays with residents of the health services centers at Presbyterian Home, Quitman, Presbyterian Village, Austell, and residents at Swainsboro Presbyterian. Here at Fayette Pres., we collect gifts during November and deliver them to the pick-up point at the end of the month, where they are then delivered to the campuses for wrapping. The gifts are given to the residents by Santa himself during Christmas parties at each center. Whether the gifts are store-bought or lovingly made by hand, they remind the residents of the joys of the holidays and the love of Christ.

Here’s the suggested gift list!

“Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40. 

These gifts are also used throughout the year for birthdays, prizes for games and therapy sessions and to welcome new residents. You can be a Santa’s helper by selecting a gifts from the ”suggested gift items” list on the brochures provided in the church hallway, place them in clear plastic storage bags and put them in the train.
